This year’s Lighting Culture Festival is co-hosted by the China Lighting Electrical Appliances Association and the Lighting Capital of China (Guzhen, Zhongshan). It runs for seven days (November 5–11), with two main venues at the Guzhen Ecological Wetland Park and People’s Square. Combined with four major lighting markets, the square in front of the park, and key streets in the town, it presents a dazzling, dreamy, and stunning visual feast of light and shadow.

After the lighting ceremony, the 3D light curtain fountain will be staged. Located in the Guzhen Ecological Wetland Park, the 3D light curtain fountain is a major highlight specially launched for this year’s Lighting Culture Festival.D Light Curtain Fountain

This attraction utilizes internationally popular multimedia art and technological achievements such as fountains, water screens, lasers, projections, flames, and music to create a 360-degree 3D light and water show with jet heights reaching up to 160 meters. It combines naked-eye 3D animation effects and light-shadow interaction with live music and dance performances rich in ethnic culture. The delicate and graceful performances breathe new life into light, vividly showcasing the unique culture of the ancient town of Lantern Capital, and creating a spectacular lighting feast for both the eyes and ears.

Fireworks Display

The fireworks display lasted nearly 15 minutes, with all kinds of fireworks blooming over the central lake of the Wetland Park, captivating the audience.

According to statistics, the first Light Festival in 2015 attracted a total of 1.8 million visitors.
