Domestic Amusement Parks Are the Best, Rare Summer Sale, Must Have Great Prices!

First, a quick announcement: Piggy has scored a super big coupon.

If you don’t use the coupon, you can get a refund, so feel free to stock up.

Trust me, because this works with multi-store cross-store discounts—it’s basically a cart-filler miracle.

Next up, Chimelong.

You guys said before that the Chimelong combo tickets were a steal, but the validity period was too short. Look at this spring promotion—not only did they extend the validity, but for the first time, they’ve included the peak summer vacation period, which everyone’s been craving.

With the spring promo combo tickets, you said you’ve got the entrance and shows covered, just missing breakfast. Well, speak of the devil—here comes 618 with combo tickets that cover summer break and include breakfast!

The summer activities can’t be revealed just yet, but if you’re heading to Guangzhou Chimelong soon, the Wildlife World is hosting the “Australian Koala Gathering Season.”

Starting with just 6 koalas, they’ve now got over 80! This marks the 20th year koalas have settled in Guangzhou, and they’ve achieved eight generations under one roof! Come to Guangzhou Chimelong this year and join the big family party with the koalas.

The water park at Guangzhou Chimelong is fully open and ready, featuring brand-new themed zones from five continents. They’ve introduced top-tier water rides from around the globe for the first time. Everything—rides, shows, interactions, and scenery—is new, so the water park this year is seriously worth getting excited about!

Over at neighboring Hengqin Chimelong, things are also buzzing with the limited-time Ocean International Music Season.

Ocean Kingdom has set up five new music stages, paired with over 30 animal-themed musical acts, making the whole park feel like a livehouse. The Spaceship Park is hosting the second season of the Orca Music Festival, with more activities than last year!

Plus, the Spaceship Park just welcomed a new baby orca named Longzhu. If you don’t go see it soon, it’ll be all grown up!

From what I know about Chimelong, summer activities will only be even more abundant than what’s already here.

Every time there’s a big sale, you guys have gotten the hang of stocking up on Chimelong combo tickets. Summer might have surcharges, but it’s definitely cheaper than booking tickets and rooms separately.

If you’re planning a summer trip to Chimelong, grabbing these combo tickets is your best bet to save money!

How do you pick the number of people for the combo ticket?

You can choose 2 or 3 people. Breakfast, entrance, shows, and buffet are all matched to that number.

  • Free entry: For guests staying at Chimelong hotels, each adult can bring one child under 3 years old or under 1 meter tall on the day of visit for free entry and breakfast (excluding shows);
  • Child supplement: The tickets included in the combo allow unlimited entry during your stay, which is more valuable than single-entry tickets bought at the gate. Supplements can only be paid at the hotel front desk for hotel guests;
  • The combo maxes out at 3 people. If you have 2 or more kids, do the same—if they don’t qualify for free entry, just pay the supplement at the hotel front desk for each item.

I made a chart to help you figure out what’s the better deal.

For a family of 2 adults and 1 child, if the kid doesn’t qualify for free entry, it’s cheaper to get the 3-person combo. Even for 2 adults and 2 kids, just go for the 3-person combo. That’s how great the Chimelong deals are!

Now, let’s dive into the products.

  1. Hengqin Chimelong Hotel 1 night (Penguin Hotel/Spaceship Hotel/Chimelong Bay Circus Hotel/Seaside Apartments) + 2 or 3-person breakfast + 2 or 3-person park tickets (Ocean Kingdom, Spaceship Park) + optional Chimelong Show/Kakahu Adventure, starting from 748 yuan

Valid from May 11, 2026, to August 23, 2026. Surcharges and blackout dates depend on the actual booking interface.

Compared to the spring promo, the 618 Chimelong combos now include breakfast for the corresponding number of people, and it’s definitely cheaper than market rates for breakfast. That’s what makes Chimelong promotions so reliable.

Plus, Chimelong combos are directly linked to inventory, so make sure to book early during peak season.

How to choose a hotel in Hengqin Chimelong?

There are 2 theme parks in Hengqin Chimelong (Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship Park). They’re close enough to walk, and there’s also a free shuttle bus.

Here’s the general layout of the 4 resort hotels. Seaside Hotel Apartments is a bit far from the main resort, so you’ll need the shuttle.

Spaceship Hotel is currently the most popular hotel in Hengqin Chimelong. Location-wise, it has a dedicated entrance right to the Spaceship Park. For Ocean Kingdom, it’s best to take the shuttle.

Penguin Hotel is centrally located. You can walk to Ocean Kingdom in about 5 minutes.

This hotel’s theme is penguins and polar animals—super cute, kids will love it.

  • Stay in a temperate room and get one ticket to Taotaole Castle.

Circus Hotel, as the name suggests, is filled with circus elements everywhere. It’s in the central spot of the resort, about a 3-minute walk to Ocean Kingdom, and overall convenient—a great value choice at Hengqin Chimelong.

  • Guests checking in before June 18 get a free room upgrade (limited availability, first come, first served).

Chimelong Bay Hotel overlooks the sea and has plenty of amenities. You can see cute dolphins and flamingos up close inside the hotel! Their own water world is open, with lots of indoor and outdoor fun.

It’s also easy to get to Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship Park via the shuttle bus!

Guests at official Hengqin Chimelong hotels enjoy “early park entry by 1 hour.” This is especially useful during holidays and weekends!

Given the weather in Guangdong, summer is actually perfect for Hengqin Chimelong, especially since Spaceship Park is fully indoor.

  1. Hengqin Chimelong Hotel 2 consecutive nights (Penguin Hotel/Spaceship Hotel/Chimelong Bay Hotel/Circus Hotel/Seaside Apartments) + 2 or 3-person breakfast + 2 or 3-person dual-park access (Ocean Kingdom + Spaceship Park) + Chimelong Show/Kakahu Adventure, starting from 1798 yuan

Valid from May 11, 2026, to August 22, 2026. Surcharges and blackout dates depend on the actual booking interface.

With 2 nights at the hotel, you get 2 park tickets, so no need to choose between Spaceship Park and Ocean Kingdom—do both.

Plus, the 2-night combo includes a show, either “Chimelong Show” or “Kakahu Adventure.” You can also add a buffet dinner.

The “Chimelong Show” is grand, featuring award-winning acts from 28 countries. The stunts and acrobatics are intense and thrilling—great atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

  • The “Chimelong Show” in the combo is only valid on the day of check-in.

Compared to the “Chimelong Show,” I think “Kakahu Adventure” is more child-friendly, with funny NPCs, magic shows, cute animals… it’s better for younger kids.

  • “Kakahu Adventure” in a 1-night combo is only valid on the day of check-in; for a 2-night combo, it’s for the second day.

Hengqin Chimelong is super popular every summer. If you plan to visit both parks, you’ll definitely need to stay 2 nights.

For dual-park access plus the show and dinner, use this link.

  1. Guangzhou Chimelong Hotel 1 night (Chimelong Hotel/Panda Hotel/Xiangjiang Hotel) + 2 or 3-person breakfast + 2 or 3-person four-park access (Animal World + Water Park + Happy World + Bird Park) + optional Grand Circus, starting from 1078 yuan

Valid from May 11, 2026, to August 23, 2026. Surcharges and blackout dates depend on the actual booking interface.

All tickets in the combo allow unlimited entry from check-in day until check-out day. You can even continue playing after checking out by storing your luggage.

Now, how to choose among the 3 Guangzhou Chimelong hotels.

Chimelong Hotel has a resort vibe, with fewer cartoon elements than Panda Hotel. You can even have breakfast with rare tigers.

It has a dedicated entrance to the Water Park, and you can walk to Happy World and the Grand Circus. For Wildlife World, use the shuttle.

Kids will love Panda Hotel, which is full of adorable panda themes. It’s also a popular choice in Guangzhou Chimelong.

From Panda Hotel, you can walk to Happy World and the Grand Circus; Wildlife World requires the shuttle.

Xiangjiang Hotel is closer to Wildlife World, a 10-minute walk. It has a Lingnan-style vibe and is a great value option in Guangzhou Chimelong.

All 3 hotels come with guest benefits.

You can choose the “Guangzhou Chimelong International Grand Circus” as an add-on, and I recommend it.

It’s a must-see at Guangzhou Chimelong, with retail prices starting at 450 yuan per person. The combo is much cheaper than buying separately.

As I mentioned, the circus shows were upgraded last year. I’ve seen plenty of domestic shows, and the Guangzhou Chimelong International Grand Circus is definitely worth watching.

  • “Grand Circus” is only valid on the day of check-in.

Summer will have surcharges, but it’s still better than booking tickets and hotels separately. Otherwise, Chimelong wouldn’t bother with such big promotions.

  1. Guangzhou Chimelong

Part 2 of 3

2-night hotel stay (Chimelong/Panda/Xiangjiang) + 2 or 3 breakfasts + 2 or 3 four-park unlimited access (Animal World + Water Park + Happy World + Bird Park) + optional International Circus, starting from 1,668 RMB

Valid from May 11, 2026 to August 22, 2026. Surcharges and blackout dates are subject to the actual booking interface.

Guangzhou’s Chimelong is actually better suited for a 2-night stay. Plus, there are four parks including the Water Park. Last time I played for 3 days and 2 nights, and I still felt like I didn’t get enough of it—Guangzhou Chimelong is just huge!

1. Purchase Taobao口令: 77¥ HU006 dVkk5KZNa6T¥ https://m.tb.cn/h.izus2pd

Currently, the Water Park is open until late on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Chimelong at night is also super fun!

5) Qingyuan Chimelong Hotel 1-night stay (Giraffe Castle Hotel) + 2 or 3 breakfasts + 2 or 3 park tickets (Forest Kingdom), starting from 968 RMB; 2-night stay (Giraffe Castle Hotel) + 2 or 3 breakfasts + 2 or 3 park tickets (Forest Kingdom, Hot Spring Park) + optional dinner, starting from 1,598 RMB

Valid from May 11, 2026 to August 23, 2026. Surcharges and blackout dates are subject to the actual booking interface.

Currently, the resort only has 2 parks + 1 hotel, but they work together perfectly—there’s a fast access route from the hotel directly to Forest Kingdom, only five minutes to the main entrance security check. The whole process is super smooth!

And the most necessary early park entry benefit? Qingyuan Chimelong has that too.

The Qingyuan package includes an optional Forest Hot Spring Park. This park is really interesting—it’s the country’s first animal-themed hot spring. You can soak in the hot springs with macaws, capybaras, meerkats, and other animals. Super unique experience!

Every time I write about Chimelong, the most common question is how to choose among its three resorts.

The easiest way is to see what animals you or your little money-spender want to see.

If you love ocean and polar animals, or if you can’t handle the heat and want more indoor activities, go straight for Zhuhai.

If you love land animals, water play, and big rides, pick Guangzhou without thinking.

If you want to experience an African-style safari and real hot springs, Qingyuan Chimelong will be right up your alley.

Of course, the most likely scenario is that once you’ve visited one Chimelong, you’ll get hooked on trying the next one!

Now, let me introduce the gameplay for each of the three resorts as usual.

The products are listed in the order of Zhuhai, Guangzhou, Qingyuan, so I’ll introduce them accordingly.

How to Play Hengqin Chimelong?

Hengqin Chimelong has 2 theme parks, 2 shows, and 5 hotels.

It focuses on ocean and polar animals. Both theme parks, Ocean Kingdom and Spaceship Park, have a huge number of animals you can see up close: orcas, whale sharks, beluga whales, penguins…

Spaceship Park

Spaceship Park is an entirely indoor park with all kinds of marine life to see (the star orcas are here), plus large rides that are included in one ticket.

And since it’s not affected by weather or heat, it’s been incredibly popular since opening.

The first floor of Spaceship Park is the themed area, with the main draw being the various marine animals.

Besides orcas, you can also see Pacific white-sided dolphins, Baikal seals, West Indian manatees, hammerhead sharks, and other marine creatures and fish.

Even though it’s an indoor park, the number of marine animals it houses is still impressive.

The second floor is the play area, also a crowd favorite. Its rides are generally much less intense than those in Ocean Kingdom.

If you usually can’t handle roller coasters or pirate ships at amusement parks, you’ll feel right at home in Spaceship Park!

Here’s a show schedule as well—it’s packed. You can check the day’s activities and park map on the mini-program “Spaceship Park”.

(Swipe up and down to see the full schedule)

Activity info is subject to on-site announcements.

Spend the daytime at Ocean Kingdom or Spaceship Park, and don’t miss the evening parade and the incredibly beautiful fireworks show!

The fireworks show is every day, usually at 20:00. This is where the value of a 2-night stay really shines—missing either the fireworks or the Zhuhai Hengqin “Chimelong Show” would be a real shame.

Hengqin Chimelong Ocean Kingdom

Ocean Kingdom has eight themed zones, combining rare marine animals, top-notch rides, and spectacular shows. Whale sharks, beluga whales, common dolphins, penguins, walruses, polar bears—animals you’d normally only see in the Arctic or Antarctic—all call Zhuhai home now.

Besides all kinds of ocean and polar animals, Ocean Kingdom also has dozens of educational shows and interactive performances every day. The venues, facilities, and parades are incredibly rich. If you want to see everything in one day, be prepared for 20,000 steps!

If you think Ocean Kingdom is just an aquarium, you’re wrong. It also has plenty of large rides, all included in one ticket.

There are many rides in Ocean Kingdom, both thrilling and gentle, and it’s not inferior to professional amusement parks!

Here’s a route I took last time for reference only:

Whale Shark Aquarium → Parrot Coaster → Manatee Cove → Rainforest Tower → Chinese White Dolphin → Dolphin Island → Super Rapids → Sea Lion Cove → Walrus Island → Penguin Pavilion → Polar Bear Pavilion → Iceberg Coaster

Following this route, you’ll hit the flagship rides, get those iconic photos, and then you can take it easy.

I’m also attaching the show schedule for Ocean Kingdom. Final event info is subject to the Chimelong park’s official announcements.

How to Play Guangzhou Chimelong?

Guangzhou Chimelong has 4 theme parks, 1 show, and 3 hotels.

Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park

Among the 4 parks, the Safari Park is the undisputed star.

Besides the sheer number of animals (over 20,000 little creatures live there), Chimelong is also really good at caring for them.

Chimelong’s mascot, the white tiger, is also a point of pride. You can see white tigers, snow tigers, and golden tigers all in one place at Chimelong.

Except for their native Australia, Chimelong’s koala population is astonishingly large and has successfully bred to the eighth generation!

Animals you can see at other zoos? You can see them all at Chimelong, and it’s definitely worth the ticket price!

The park’s internal transportation is especially unique: the cable car offers views of pandas in the trees and Swan Lake, and the mini-train that travels through the “Five Continents” are must-dos, and they’re free.

For hotel guests, the most convenient route is to enter and exit through the South Gate.

An ideal route plan: South Gate → Flamingos → Panda Village → (take the cable car at Panda Paradise Station) → Swan Lake → Five Continents Animals → (take the mini-train) → Green Dragon Mountain → Hundred Tigers Mountain → Cute & Cool Paradise → Panda Paradise Station → Chimpanzees → Bear Forest → South Gate.

Guangzhou Chimelong Water Park

The Water Park has also been upgraded. This year, there are five intercontinental water play themes, and the whole park is packed with fun!

Plus, the Water Park has introduced the world’s top three water play equipment, each more impressive than the last.

“Storm Double Blast” takes you on a 33-meter drop, simulating a storm’s effect so you feel like you’re being thrown by the waves.

Ever bungee-jumped with splashes? “Sky-High Double Wave Board” has a 260-meter slide—non-stop screams guaranteed.

The one I want to try most is the “Magnetic Cannon Water Coaster,” with nearly 500 meters of weightlessness. One is more thrilling than the next—is it stealing Happy World’s thunder?

But don’t worry. Most rides at the Water Park are moderate in intensity; kids over 1.1 meters can ride most of them. And the “Wonderful Parent-Child Water City,” kept at a constant 32°C, is also very friendly for families with kids.

(Swipe up and down to see the full schedule)

Subject to on-site announcements.

Playing water rides is one thing, but what I think Guangzhou Chimelong’s Water Park does best is create an atmosphere.

There’s the “Super Wave Pool” and the “Wave Pool Stage,” with live bands and a flyboard team imported from abroad.

And the Water Park gets livelier as it gets darker! I recommend spending the day at the Safari Park or Happy World, then heading to the Water Park in the evening. Bored and heading back to the hotel at night? That’s not an option!

Happy World

Happy World is mainly an amusement park with rides, shows, and parades, mostly outdoor.

Happy World has just added 6 new attractions: a launch roller coaster, a super pirate ship, a hurricane flying chair, a magic swing, a starship… Even more rides to enjoy!

If you particularly love thrilling rides, Happy World will be right up your alley.

Happy World is also very kid-friendly. Most rides are accessible for those over 0.9 meters, and those over 1.45 meters can ride everything.

Happy World also has shows, but for someone like me who’s all about the rides, it’s most efficient to hit the rides during show times.

(Swipe up and down to see the full schedule)

Activity info is subject to on-site announcements.

Guangzhou Chimelong Fly

Bird Paradise
Feathered Paradise is about a 20-minute drive from the resort, and there’s a free shuttle bus to get there.

The interactive experiences at Feathered Paradise are pretty great. There are daily scheduled educational shows, plus fun little activities like being a flamingo keeper or feeding small animals (for an extra fee)—kids will love it.

Feathered Paradise isn’t as huge as the Wildlife World; it has five zones in total, and half a day is enough to cover it. It’s probably the least tiring of the four major Chimelong parks in Guangzhou.

You can plan your route based on the shows: follow the order of Wetland Spirits → Birds in Flight → Nile Valley → Bird Code → Feathered Wonderland, and you’ll catch all the performances. Make sure to see Birds in Flight—half the ticket price is worth it just for that.

Activity info is subject to on-site announcements.

International Circus
At Chimelong Guangzhou, the circus is a must-see. The upgraded show Magic Legend III debuts in spectacular fashion, with fresh acts like Flowing Dream Dance, Blazing Pioneers, and Fantasy Realm that will absolutely blow you away.

The theater’s stage design has up to 11 layers, featuring lifelike forests, hills, ice fields, flames, streams, and boats, creating a stunning visual experience.

Finally, there’s Qingyuan Chimelong.

Currently, Qingyuan Chimelong has opened Chimelong Forest Kingdom, Chimelong Forest Hot Spring Paradise, and Chimelong Giraffe Castle Hotel. The hot spring paradise is open year-round.
Chimelong Forest Kingdom
The park in Qingyuan is huge, and the animals’ living environments are excellent, so many of them seem perfectly content there.

Most of the animal habitats have no fences, putting them in the same space as visitors.

Here, you can get up close to African lions, spot some monkeys chilling in hammocks, and check out the giant anteater breeding area and the place where you can see white-rumped langurs.

A standard route through the park without backtracking goes: Parrot Rainforest → Bear Valley → Central Lawn → Bug World → Millennium Sacred Tree → Train Town (steam train crossing Africa) → Giraffe Prairie & Lion Mountain (Ferris wheel) → Monkey Island.

But if you’re up for walking, I’d suggest heading straight to Train Town when the gates open. Riding the steam train across Africa is the hottest and most worthwhile experience at Qingyuan Chimelong—skipping it means you’ve missed out. After that, you can take it slow and explore in reverse.

The animal migration show is a must-see; it’s really spectacular.

Activity info is subject to on-site announcements.
Chimelong Forest Hot Spring Paradise
Qingyuan is officially recognized by the Ministry of Land and Resources as the hometown of hot springs. Combined with Chimelong’s expertise in animal care, meerkats and hornbills have made their homes right by the hot springs, and the star attraction, Capybara, is also there. It’s a truly unique experience in China.

You can even soak in the hot springs while watching animals up close—how could anyone resist that?!

The hot spring quality is top-notch, too: the water comes from natural rock layers 2,300 meters underground. Qingyuan Chimelong has built over 40 themed pools, including a dazzling Virtual Shadow Pool that integrates VR technology, letting you watch movies while you soak.

Finally, a quick summary.

Stock up on Chimelong’s own promotional combo tickets with confidence. If you plan to visit during peak season like summer vacation, be sure to book in advance—reserving your spot ensures a smoother trip!

For product details, refer to the product page; read it carefully.
