1. Greenway Jogging – Stroll Through the Forest Oxygen Bar*

The 5.5-kilometer star-shaped greenway is perfect for eco-friendly exercise!

The asphalt and rubber surface is flat and springy,

With 80% of the route surrounded by trees,

Where negative oxygen ion concentrations are three times higher than in the city center.

Cycling Tips

Rent smart carts or sightseeing bikes in the park, passing through forest clearings like “Start of Spring: Plum Blossom Search” and “Start of Summer: Locust Shade.” Slow down near the old canal course to see clear reclaimed water reflecting tree shadows, with occasional egrets gliding over the water—fully immersive in nature.

Best Times for Jogging

7-9 AM or 5-7 PM, when morning light or sunset filters through leaves onto the path, creating dappled shadows. Listen to birdsong, cicadas (summer), and falling leaves (autumn) as you run—more healing than a gym. Rest benches and water fountains are along the way for breaks and hydration.

2. Old Canal Course – Poetry of the Ecological Wetland*

The old canal course is the park’s “ecological gem.”

Spring (March-May): Embrace the Stirring of Spring*

Mosquitoes are abundant, so be sure to bring insect repellent. Some sections of the greenway, like the Old Canal Trail, lack shade, so it’s best to avoid going at noon—mornings and evenings are more comfortable for a visit.

🔎The wetland ecological breeding area requires a reservation to enter (free of charge). If you want to get up close to the birds, book one day in advance.

🔎The park is windy in winter, so a windbreaker is recommended. During cherry blossom season in April, the Cherry Blossom Courtyard can get crowded—if you want to take photos without people, it’s best to arrive before 9 AM.
